first steps
Not sure if this counts but Kate walked a few steps without holding on to anything while we were at her Aunt & Uncle’s house last night. She fell forward and used her arms to brace herself but it did seem like she was brave enough to try at least. Of course this was on a padded couch and not on the carpet or tile. Meanwhile she’s cruising around and can take maybe a step by herself between grabbing things for balance. She’s becoming a better crawler also and although she cannot crawl at dynamite speeds like her cousin Zachary she can move if she really wants to (like when she keeps trying to eat cat food).
